The German Cancer Research Center, the largest biomedical research institute in Germany, operates a comprehensive program in the field of cancer research. Together with university partners at seven renowned partner sites, we have established the German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research (DKTK).

is seeking for December 2012 a
PhD Student Biological
individualization of radiation
Radiobiological evaluation of biomarkers for radiation oncology (biological
or genetic markers, functional imaging)
Preclinical in-vitro and in-vivo experiments
Examinations on underlying molecular mechanisms
Diploma or masterŽs degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, medicine
or other appropriate qualifications
Knowledge in biology and tumor biology
Basic knowledge on molecular and cell biology techniques
Experience with in-vivo techniques is advantageous, but not condition
Very good knowledge of English language; knowledge of German language
is not essential
